Funds raised will support....


Our appeal aims to raise £500,000. The purchase of the freehold of the building and property has been offered to our parish at the cost of £250,000. Remaining funds will go toward:


•Planning and development permission, architectural fees, etc.

•External repairs, building, and decoration, including new roofing.

•New flooring, walls and ceilings; heating; gallery provision; new lavatories and kitchen.

•Fitting of iconostasis and sacristy, church furnishings, lighting and fittings.

•Shelving and furniture for the Sunday school, office and parish library.

  1. •In future, we will also require funds to decorate and further develop the new church, including a more permanent iconostasis, new icons, vestments, and other liturgical items.


The purpose of this fundraising appeal is to buy, renovate and decorate a new building for our parish. If for any reason we are unable to buy this particular building, or there are surplus funds following the purchase and renovation work, all monies raised will be used to further the work of the Parish of St Nicholas the Wonderworker.
