Our parish takes seriously the health, safety and welfare of its children and young people, together with all those who minister to and work with them. We are committed to providing a safe and caring environment in which our children, as well as all those young people who visit our community or take part in its events, may encounter the living tradition of the Church.
As part of this committment, the Parish of St Nicholas the Wonderworker is governed by the Child Protection Policy of the Diocese of Sourozh, which has been formally adopted as the governing document on child welfare in our community. All persons who regularly work with children and young people in our parish are vetted and undergo background checks, as per our policy and governmental recommended practice.
