The Parish of St Nicholas is a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarchate of Moscow, in the Diocese of Sourozh. We maintain a full cycle of services, celebrated in English and Church Slavonic. Weekend services are at 6.00 p.m. on Saturdays (Vigil service) and 11.00 a.m. on Sunday mornings (Divine Liturgy). In addition we hold services on major feasts and saints' days, according to the old style (Julian) calendar.

We venerate Thy Cross, O Master,
and we glorify Thy holy resurrection!

Services are open to anyone - Orthodox or not - who would like to come and share in our life of worship and prayer. The Divine Liturgy on Sundays and feasts is followed by a time of fellowship (often with a common meal) to which all are also welcome.

Please see our schedule of services for information on our worshipping life, as well as maps and directions to the church. If you would like to stay informed about the life of the Parish of St Nicholas, please subscribe to our electronic newsletter, which is sent out with news of parish activities, special services and other events in the life of the community.

We also produce a bi-monthly Parish Newsletter, with articles pertaining to the practice of the Orthodox faith,Orthodox news from around the world, the diocesan and parish life, as well as details of all church services for the month ahead.

You are welcome to explore this web site for fuller details on the parish, its background and history, the life of our patron saint, associated summer camp programmes, and other materials.

Additionally, we maintain a photo album of notable events, figures and places related to our parish life. And if you're interested in becoming a member of the parish, or to learn more about being received into Orthodoxy, we have a page with information for you.

For information about arranging baptisms, weddings or funerals, please contact the parish priest. Confessions are generally available every Saturday after the evening service from about 8 pm and at other times by appointment. Please email or telephone Fr Stephen to arrange this.
