Sunday School

processionsThe parish's Sunday school meets weekly, following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy in the Church Sunday School room.  Sunday School lasts for about thirty minutes according to the following pattern:

  •
    •
    •

  • first and third Sundays of the month - a lesson is led by one of the Sunday School teachers
  • second Sunday of the month, the usual time for our monthly parish lunch - screening of a children's film
  • fourth Sunday of the month - the Sunday School is taught by  one of the clergy.
Teenagers have their own monthly programme, as detailed on the Youth Group page. All children are invited to join the groups for Sunday school whenever they are in church—and parents are especially encouraged to bring their children regularly to Sunday school so that they are able to participate week-to-week in the theme and activities.  If you would like more information on the programme, the age groups, if you've any questions about starting your child in the Sunday school, or if you think you might be interested in helping teach in the Sunday school from time to time, please contact Lara Colyer or Anna Platt.
