As usual, on 19th December 2008, the parish kept its patonal feast of St Nicholas the Wonderworker.  On this ocassion, Bishop Elisey of Sourozh visited the parish and celebrated the Divine Liturgy.  Assisting him were Fr Stephen, the rector of St Nicholas Parish, Fr Ian Graham, the rector of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Oxford and protodeacon Dimitry Nedostupenko from the Russian Orthodox Cathedral in London.  Metropolitan Kallistos of Diokleia prayed in the altar during the Liturgy.
