In March 2008, our parish launched a monthly newsletter called The Wayfarer. Although intended primarily as a parish newsletter and a replacement of the weekly bulletins, it is hoped that The Wayfarer will be of interest also to a broader audience both in Oxford and elsewhere. The newsletters include a digest of interesting and edifying articles pertaining to the practice of the Orthodox faith, as well some original contributions. It also contains Orthodox news from around the world, as well as our own Diocese of Sourozh. An up-to-date schedule of services and contact information is printed on the back page.
The Wayfarer is published monthly and is available either as a hardcopy or a .pdf download. The cost of the printed copy is currently £1.00, and is available throughout the month from St Giles' Church Hall whenever our parish celebrates services there. The download is free of charge.
The Wayfarer is currently edited by Anna Platt in close collaboration with the parish clergy. Contributions of articles, news items and announcements are very warmly welcomed, please contact Anna for details.
